Day 1
Time to get to work 😓
I am starting out at a whopping 207 lbs. I am 5'4. My normal weight fluctuates between 130 - 145. Even at my previous heaviest, I am at least 62 lbs overweight, and I am feeling it. My joints ache, my bones hurt when I go from a sitting or laying position to standing up. I have several health problems that stem from being overweight. Nothing fits.
I feel awful that I've let it get this bad. I don't want to spend the next half of my life in and out of the hospital with health problems. I want to have quality of life.
I am determined to do this. I know I can do this.
I've included some starting-out pictures so that I can hold myself accountable and keep track of the changes.
Whoever is reading this, please wish me luck.

Day 2
Ok, I know it's only day 2, but I'm tired y'all 😅
I hadn't worked out in a very long time, and I'm really out of shape. I mean extreeemmmellly out of shape.
Yesterday's workout wore me out, and I was feeling it this morning. I did not want to get up and work out again, but I'm determined to lose this weight and get back in shape. So I dragged myself out of bed, not wanting to do this at all. Surprisingly though, once I started warming up I started to get into the workout and give it everything I had.
Now I'm even more exhausted, but in a good way. It feels great getting that out of the way in the morning, and once I finish the workout I feel accomplished and in a better mood than I was in when I woke up.
I've downloaded this app, called "Stand Up!". I work in a very sedentary job, sitting down at the computer all day long. I've started having circulation problems, and my feet swell pretty bad, especially at night. I'm hoping this will help with those issues. It gives me an alert every certain period of time, and I stand up and walk around or stretch for a certain amount of time. I get to set up every how long I stand up, and for how much time. It times it for me and alerts me when time is up so I can get back to work.
I'm also hoping staying active throughout the day will help me with my weight loss. So far it's kind of hard to stick to it because I'm tired, but I have noticed that it has started helping. My joints don't hurt so bad every time I stand up, and I feel less creaky, if that makes sense.
I knew this would be hard, and a big change after the way I've been living the past few years. But I'm sticking with it. If you are going through the same thing, hang in there my friend, it gets easier.
